Eat the Textbook: Chemistry

Not a summary. A full reconstruction from first principles — the kind of chemistry you'd get if you had a PhD walking you through the textbook chapter by chapter.

About this course

Most chemistry courses are designed around coverage — get through the chapter, pass the test, move on. This course is designed around understanding. Each module strips a topic down to its first principles and rebuilds it with the kind of rigor that makes the advanced material feel obvious in hindsight.

By the end, you won't just know chemistry — you'll know why chemistry works. That's a different thing, and it transfers.

What you'll cover

  • 1Atomic structure, periodic trends, and bonding — the real story
  • 2Stoichiometry and reaction types without shortcuts
  • 3Thermodynamics: enthalpy, entropy, and Gibbs free energy from scratch
  • 4Equilibrium, acids, bases, and buffers — one unified model
  • 5Electrochemistry and organic chemistry essentials

Who this is for

Audience

High schoolers, pre-med students, and curious adults

Prerequisites

None — curiosity is enough.

Your instructor

Frequently asked

Do I need a chemistry background?

No. The course starts from the atom and builds up. If you've seen a periodic table before, you're ready.

How is this different from Khan Academy or AP prep?

Coverage vs. understanding. This course is slower on purpose — every concept is earned, not just shown.

When does it launch?
